Finally!

It really happened! After waiting not so patiently, pouting and then finally caving and giving up completely, it happened. It snowed!

Granted, it was only about half an inch, but it was half an inch of pure bliss.

Needless to say, we relished in it.

  13. Oh we would just about give anything for a little snow around these parts right now. I was hoping for a miracle that we'd wake up today on my daughter's bday with snow, but alas, to no avail. But I don't envy the blizzards! Glad you all were able to enjoy it!

  14. And just think, you had given up all hope so much so that you guys dipped some toes in the pond. Glad you got your snow. Just enough for some sledding and happy runny noses.

    1. Seriously! This weather is crazy, I so thought spring had sprung. I've been hitting the elderberry and garlic and anything else I can think of to try and prevent sickness. Here's to hoping!

  20. For the first time in forever I was actually wishing for the snow as well. Having kids will do that to you...you tend to start hoping for the messy things. Messy starts to equal fun. :o)

    1. Yes it does! Honestly snow days are exhausting- it's go go go, every minute- with lots of cooking and baking and picking up in between- but it's so worth it. Thankfully they are a rarity or I would be totally beat:)

  26. So fun!! It finally snowed a semi significant amount here. It's mostly been cold. It was the beautiful crazy kind coming down. Non-threatening, but really thick. So pretty. Snow is my favorite! Glad you got some snow there too! XO -Alexandra
